We recommend a rental vehicle to complete your holiday and provide the necessary flexibility to visit all of the attractions on Grand Cayman.

Sea Palm Villas have exclusive agreements with most car rental companies on Grand Cayman and therefore can provide the most competitive rates on the island. These savings are then passed onto our customers. [See rates and conditions below]

General Conditions:

All cars are picked up and dropped off right at the airport; car mileage is unlimited. Rates are in USD and are based upon a 24 hour day rental period. Hourly late charges apply if car is returned later than when picked up. Although unlikely, cars may vary from the make and model outlined above. Your rental car can be booked for your entire visit to Grand Cayman even if staying at Sea Palm Villas for only part of the visit. In addition, if on island ahead of your stay at Sea Palm Villas, the rental car can be picked up at several locations along Seven Mile Beach.

Insurance & Environment / Licence Recovery Fee:

Rates do not include any insurance you choose to include in your rental agreement. The rates do not include the government's 'Environment / License Recovery Fee' of US$8.00 per day. These insurances and fees are paid directly to the rental car agency.

Driving License:

Upon presentation of a valid license from country of residence, each driver must purchase a Cayman Islands visitors driving permit at a cost of US$20.00 per person (one time fee) and is valid for the duration of stay only.

Maximum/Minimum Driving Age:

Minimum age 21 with Avis honored charge card and travel vouchers supported by a charge card. NO MAXIMUM DRIVING AGE.

Additional Drivers:

Fee: US$20.00 per driver (one time fee). Minimum age 21.

Fuel/Gas:

Not included in rate. It is highly recommended that you refuel your rental car prior to return as the rental company will charge you approximately US$16 per gallon . The Imperial gallon is used in the Cayman Islands (5 quarts per gallon verses the US gallon of 4 quarts pg)

Special Equipment:

Child safety seats are available on request: US$6.50 per day = US$45.50 per week.
